Earlier I introduced a user-written column system within Drupal, which Maverick Revolution runs, which is based on the blog module. This way I could post some of my own thoughts, and others can post theirs, without cluttering the main page. I've started off with a series entitled domain discoveries which explores domains owned by such companies as Digg, Revision3, Google, Yahoo, Facebook and more. At this writing there are two parts online about Google, Digg, and Revision3.

If you're interested in writing your own column you need to register an account. Columns do not have to have a direction of any kind, they're basically blogs at the moment.

Expect more "from the columns" features on the homepage as more content is posted that is interesting.
